CG(2003-1996)
I made this test animation for Rockstar Games in 2003 in order to work on a 3D brawler based on the cult-classic book/film
The Warriors (PS2).
Not only did I already have 3D brawler game development experience (which is kinda rare), but I was also
the team's only native New Yorker, and from Coney Island at that!
So you can imagine how much of a deep personal honor and privilege this project was for me to be a part of.
Those who know me know I loooove Capcom!
Been a fanboy since the early 1980's arcade classics Black Tiger and Ghosts 'n Goblins.
In some Twilight Zone coincidence, Capcom gave me an animation job offer the same week Rockstar did!
(Probably due to this fan art I made of Cammy from Super Street Fighter 2.)
To work at Capcom was a dream come true! A no brainer, buuuut... <gah>, it's The Warriors!!!

I'm also a big Neo Geo fan. :-)
Here's a 2002 fan art of Haohmaru from SNK's Samurai Shodown 2.
Face needed work, but never got around to it.

Around 2002, Stormfront Studios sent me this concept art to test my character modelling skills.
They said they liked it, but I honestly forgot what happened after that. lol

Misc. Art
Gameloft - circa 2001-2002.
As Ubisoft NYC was closing, Gameloft was being born.

Alamatra Warriors (PC/Arcades - unpublished).
3d brawler
Digital Knights, Inc. 1999-2000
This was the last game I had worked on as part of Digital Knights (see below for more info).
We had made our own character animation-based 3d game engine from scratch (assembly, and C++), and we finally had a playable 3d brawler... but funds were stretched too thin and we were forced to close shop.
Thinking back, the Digital Knights era was a wonderful learning experience that has helped me till this day.

Tiro Masters (PC/Arcades - unpublished).
3d brawler
Digital Knights, Inc. 1998-1999
Working on this 3D brawler was fun, but the designs changed enough for it to become Alamatra Warriors (see above).

Five 0 - Galactic Police (SNES - game demo).
Side-scrolling shooter
Digital Knights, Inc. 1996-1997
Where it all started. A group of friends from John Dewey H.S. in Brooklyn, starting their own game company. We were young, dumb, and full of commitment to making the best video games possible... starting with this side-scrolling shooter. :-)

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!
In 2021, the old Digital Knights crew has gotten back together and are now Atlantic Games!
We're working on another 3D brawler (my 4th), and I hope you can all enjoy it soon.
Please show your support and spread the word so we can make this game a reality!
Thank you for visiting.
